Privacy policy

EverWed helps couples plan their wedding and share it with their guests. This policy explains what personal information we process, why, and the choices you have, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Information we collect
Account details (your name, email and password), your wedding details, and the guest information you choose to add — names, contact details, RSVPs, dietary notes and messages. Guests can add RSVP details, guestbook messages and photos themselves.
How we use it
To run your wedding website, send invitations and reminders you ask us to send, process payments, provide support and keep the service secure. We never sell personal information or use guest details for marketing.
Your guests’ information
You are responsible for having a reason to add your guests’ details and for sharing their personal invitation links. Guests can ask you, or us, to correct or remove their information.
Payments
Card and EFT payments are processed by PayFast. We never see or store your card details; we keep a record of the transaction for invoicing.
Where data is stored
Your data is stored with reputable hosting providers. Photos you and your guests upload are stored only for your wedding and deleted when you delete your wedding.
Cookies and analytics
We use a cookie to remember how you found EverWed, such as an ad or a link from a supplier, and save it with your account when you sign up. If you accept cookies, we also use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to see how people use our website and to measure our ads. You can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of our website. We never use these on wedding websites or guests’ invitations.
Your rights
You can access, export (CSV) and correct your data at any time, and delete your wedding or your account from Settings. Deletion is permanent.
